Welcome to Wiichat. To add an avatar, you have to do the following:
Got to: User CP > Edit Avatar. Then copy and paste the link of the avatar into the space provided. If the picture is on your desktop, then click 'Choose File' and it will let you pick your picture's file.

im not sure exactly whatchu mean but you could always save the picture, go to user cp. edit avatar, and open it from there.
