New Blue Light?

I'm looking at my Wii right now and there is a message. Is the blue light pattern updated/different? Right now, it's just pulsing, getting bright to dim and back again. Normally, it does that but then flashes twice before getting dim. Did Nintendo change this? (I sure hope so, i didn't like the flashing)

no, my wii has been up to date, and just a few days ago it had the flashing. Perhaps it came with the updated check mii out?

I'm not quite sure that dim and color are related. Usually dim refers to brightness and color refers to, you know, the color. It's not like it "dims" from blue to say, i dont know, red? What page is that on in the Wii manual?
