Need help Getting the wii internet

Ok i am trying to get the wii internet nothing working i use a D-link router all that come's up is the shop channel the news channel and weather channel Help plese?

are these channels working without error codes?
if they are, that means your internet connection is ok.

this might come across as a little condecending (not meant to be) but have you actually downloaded the Wii opera browser?

You need to download it from the Shop Channel

If you've already downloaded it, try manually updating your Wii, won't hurt to give it a try. BTW where in Wisc are you? I'm in Upper Michigan.
