Need alittle help in the desert.

so i am in the dessert and there are these road blocks. i can't get passed the northern most road block. do i have to do something the big collumn that is sticking out of the ground? i figured that is a bridge i use to make the goron next to the castl happy.

any help would be appreciated.

you dont get a bridge, you help raise money sothey can build a bridge where that goron is, and its optional.

In the desert if you follow the map you should end up at the desert dungeon.
