2K Sports today announced NBA 2013 for Wii and Wii U, as well as all other major consoles. The top-rated NBA video game simulated franchise for the past 12 years follows up the award-winning NBA 2K12 with something even better, according to 2K. The game has been developed by Visual Concepts, a 2K Sports studio, and will be available on Wii on October 2, 2012 in North America, and October 5, 2012, internationally. The Wii U version of the game does not as yet have a release date, but 2K says that it will be available during the holiday season. Currently 2K is being very cagey with releasing information about the game, but if you’re chomping at the bit to find out more, check out Spike TV this Monday, on the All Access primetime special, at 10 ET/7 PT, for the first ever NBA 2K13 reveal, including an exclusive NBA 2K13 interview, which will also feature gameplay footage.
