Independent UK game developer Brain in a Jar has today announced that it is currently working on the Wii version of NASCAR The Game: Inside Line, in conjunction with Eutechnyx. Here’s what Carl Dalton founder of Brain in a Jar, had to say about the project:
“Working with Eutechnyx on NASCAR The Game: Inside Line is a great project for us, as we’ll be utilising our own engine and development techniques to really make the most of the Wii hardware and give Wii owners a great NASCAR game.” He continues, “We’re committed to technical excellence and authenticity as much as Eutechnyx and are thoroughly enjoying the challenge of bringing this great racing series to life on the Wii.”
NASCAR The Game: Inside Line aims to bring the genuine NASCAR experience to the Wii, featuring the top NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers, teams and cars, all of whom are set to race over all 23 officially licensed tracks, complete with a new, in-depth career mode and online features that include leagues and leader boards. Aspiring drivers also now get the chance to rise up through the ranks, attracting sponsors and upgrading their car’s components in their bid to be the Sprint Cup Series Champion.
Look for the game to be launched this fall.
