Moving Save Data

I had to replace my Wii because my old one stopped reading discs. I had almost everything unlocked already but now I cant get the save data to copy or move to a SD card so I can put it on my new Wii. I was able to move and transfer save data from all my other games as well, its just my Mario Kart data that I cant get to transfer.

Anyone know how to transfer the data over?

I think it saves automatically to the sd card.

I'm pretty sure you can't copy the data of games that have wi-fi.

Oh that's true! I tried with Animal Crossing: City Folk and i kept getting an error 60000 when I would open the gate. I learned that your Wii's friend code doesn't match up with the one that the server assigned you. So it's like... If you start with Wii code 123 and MKW code 456, the server sees you as 123456. If you try to re-format and restore, the server will see you as 789456 because your Wii code changed to 789 (for example).

If you're modded though, use the Homebrew Browser to find Save Game Extractor (I think it's like GX or something like that). It's relatively simple to use and works like a charm to extract and install save data as well as Miis.
