If you’re feeling particularly musical today and you live in North America, then why not check out Mix Superstar which has just dropped on WiiWare. Would-be DJs can get busy creating, mixing and recording their own royalty-free musical masterpieces on their Wii. The game comes with over 1,000 Dance, Hip Hop and Techno loops, across multiple instruments including Drum, Bass, Synth, Guitar and even voice tracks. Over a dozen new music loop packs will also be released via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Pay & Play, featuring such genres as Rock, Pop, House and Latin.
Once you’ve recorded your masterpiece, you can then export your creation and download it to your computer so that you can take it with you and show it off. Alternatively, you can use WiiConnect 24 to send your tracks to your Wii Friends.
Both the Logitech USB Microphone and Wii Speak are fully supported in the game, so you can sing your heart out on your own tracks as well.
Mix Superstar is out now in North America exclusively on WiiWare, for 500 Wii Points.
