Mii Crossing?

So I was just messing around in the Mii channel yesterday making Helen Keller and Chuck Norris and whatnot, and I realized that the Mii's strongly resemble the little guys from Animal Crossing. They also make similar noises while walking. Do you think Nintendo is setting us up for a Mii Crossing game of some sort?

im pretty sure they are, i think ive even seen pictures of it. but its gonna be a long time before nintendo actually anounces its release date
