Mii Creator Issues

I have a unique situation. I created my Mii on my friends Wii and then placed it on a Wiimote that I actually bought before I even had my own Wii... The question is:

Is there a way to edit my Mii from my own Wii? Right now when I try to edit my Mii created from my friends Wii it gives me 'You are not the creator of this Mii' and it will not let me edit.

P.S. I tried the 'search' feature to see if this question was already asked but I didn't find anything. Sorry if this has already been asked... post the thread link if it has please.

no it's not possible, mii's are locked to Wii's
