Metroid 3 Help--Bryyo Jungle and Satellites

I am in the jungle part of Bryo, and i got to a satellite that you need to scan, but you can't because it's on. next to the satellite is a wall that i "can't blow up with current suit upgrades." anyway i use the grapple beam on a part of the satellite in order to turn it off so i can scan it, but when i scan it it still says that i need to turn it off to scan it or soething. help!

You need to upgrade your ship.
Head back to Norion I believe and get the missiles.

the missiles for your arm? i have them. is that what you mean? thanks guys

You have to have the missile expansion for your ship. You'll then need to turn off the satellite thing, and then target the large door for your ship to come and destroy.

You have to go back to the main airdock on Bryo, where you first landed on the planet. You can then go to the new landing sight you got a message about and upgrade your ship. I just finished that section yesterday, actually. If you haven't made it through the Fire landing site yet, you may not have gotten the message about the new landing site.
