Mario Kart trouble

i just bought the game and i unlocked two cars but i cannot access them they just show up as question marks. Why can i not access them.

Did you figure it out yet?

If not...the characters are different sizes, and they can only drive karts in their class. If you're choosing a medium character (such as Mario) and you've only unlocked a large and a small kart, you won't see any new kart choices. Try a different size character and your unlocked karts should appear.

If changing characters still didn't work, maby you turned your wii off and it didn't save so you might have to re unlock them.
