madden freezing

this happend two time in one day. i was playing madden and i was at the pick a play screen when the concole froze up. none of the buttons on the wii cntroler worked and i could not go to the home menu i went over to my cosole to reset it but the reset button did not work. i tried pressing the power button but the system did not turn off. i then unppluged the power plug from the back of the system and the wii shut off. i left the wii off for about 2 hours then a came back and played it again. about 45 minuts into gameplay it did the same thing. that was the first time that my wii ever did something wrong. i also have zelda and it works normal. i am wondering why this prblom is caused because my madden disc is brand new and i just took it out of the box.

It is probably the Madden disc if Zelda runs fine. Try to return it for a new one.
