my son gave me a madcatz wireless controller for christmas and i cant get it to synchronize with my wii red lights on the controller as well as the sending unit that is plugged into the console both blink.i know this is a low quality controller but want to make it work.to synchronize normally you push 1&2 button but there are no such buttons any ideals anyone. thanks

You sure its a wiimote controller? Sounds like you got another controller instead of a wii since it sounds like you got a PS3 controller one I have that plugs through USB.

It only works with specific Wii games that are able to use gamecube controllers. It aint really a Wii controller just a gamecube contoller that is wireless. So you can't use it as a wiimote.
