Jap wii with wiikey, Tools help!!

Hi, I have a japense wii with a wiikey modchip and i live in the UK (should have really got a pal one but they are next to impossible to find). When i try and access the tools section it comes up with a white screen saying it tried to access marc:JP/JP/JPN/index01.html ? then it tells me to access OPERA HELP? Has anyone else come across this problem or know how to sort this as i was trying to set up the wifi .

any ideas?

Yeah, get a UK Wii!

Sounds like your console is trying to acess the Japan site, rather than the European. Doubt you will be able to fix this.

i don't think you can do anything to fix it, you could put up with it and just play games or you could sell it on ebay and buy a pal wii

Why is it trying to access the internet? I only want to go into the "tools" well what i think is tools i am clicking on the spanner
