Is there a way to buy the virtual games from a computer

Well I was wondering if there is a way that I could buy games from the wii shopping channel from my computer. I for some reason can play games on line against others but my wii cannot update with the router that I am using and I have tried everythign any suggestions would be awesome.

You can download an emulator, and some roms to play the games on your PC... I'm currently using the Nintendo 64 emulator: Project64 and am having a great time playing the legendary games like Super Mario 64, and MarioKart 64, as well as others like Rainbow Six and some old F1 Games. You can download the roms from CoolRom.com; or just search for free * roms (*Console you want the roms for)

methinks the "can play online, but cannot update" is a crock. does someone have a chipped wii?
