I have a 3rd party Wii sensor that intermittently works. It is wired. The right side of the sensor always works and has 3 dots. The left side sometimes works and some times it doesn't. I took it apart but did not notice any bad wires or spots on the boards. You have to either take it apart and put it back together or tap it several times to get the left side working again. I am trying to fix until I get a new one.
