Please don't flame if someone has thought this already.
I heard a rumour about Nintendo enhancing the Virtual Console. I've devised my own idea with what they are going to propose. Customised control systems for virtual console games by you by manually configuring Gestures, Buttons and movements etc.
Surely implementation would be relatively easy by emulating whats already there and using a "wrapper" in programming talk.
I've already tried using a Wiimote and Nunchunk on my pc using GlovePIE, and its not far off from being fully customizable for each individual game.
If Nintendo ain't going to do it, the homebrew developers will using the PC. GlovePIE is almost there, and I can see me in front of my pc playing Battlefield, Virtua Tennis, Virtua Cop Star Wars Battlefront, NBA MAME Emulation(Point Black, Jurassic Park, Track and Field, Decathlete), Neo Geo Emulation(Crossed Swords - yes a sword fighting game) and all the other emulators out there.
If your interested, google some of the stuff I've mentioned.
