Impossible to Back Up Saves onto SD Cards of Ctn. Games

So far, it seems that certain games that have Rankings cannot be backed up onto an SD card. Is there a workaround, or are these games just screwed in terms of sharing saves with friends?

Games I know of in reference:
Ghost Squad (self-leveling player with worldwide rankings)
Trauma Center (worldwide rankings)

Datel Power Saves Wii is a workaround if you need it.

How does it work compared to normal SD cards? If it's copying using the Wii's copy function, it's the Wii not letting me copy it over, not the SD card that's preventing me from doing so.

It's a DVD application for the Wii, and the SD card to save, It even permanently changes the saves to copyable, so you can put Elebits/Eledees data on the SD, and just simply copy it on another Wii without the DVD.
