Import Wii? plz help

Well i forgot to preorder so now all Wii's are gone in the whole city (I live in Holland, Amsterdam) they say it will take ages for them to do the preorders befor they can even sell em. I happen to go to France in about 2 weeks so i was wondering if the Wii is multilanguage and if dutch games are compatible, can't seem to find anything about it, plz help me, thanks

yep. they are both "PAL" so dutch games will be compatible with French games; European countries and Australia.

but is the console multilanguage? i rather have english or dutch instead of french

Are you sure? I heard the wii was regen locked meaning the UK pal games are not compatable with Australian pal wiis.. am i wrong?

Yes. You are wrong, PAL UK is the same as PAL in Australia.
