i nee help with my charging dock

hey every1, can sum1 help me. i have a gameware(uk) charging dock which is powered by usb. i charged my wiimote in the dock until it was charged, although when i used it there is no power from the wiimote. it works fine with normal batteries.
Also the four lights have gone very dim since i used this dock, especially the third one. this does not effect gameplay but is annoying

Help would be appreciated muchly
