i dont have a wii online yet but can i play my against my mates and do we need the same game to play each other. can i get a microphone so we can talk iswell

Hi, welcome to the forums

Online play is not yet available but as i understand will be coming out sometime this year, a headset microphone is very probable and im sure further details will be announced once the Wii online ability has been activated.
