I am getting TP for Xmas!!

I'm excited and I don't know what to expect. Is this game good? I never played a Zelda game before, but I have played games like it. Does the sword get updated like in Onimusha? Fill me in on the basics of sword playing.

Sadly there are only 2 upgrades from the starter wooden sword. Also, sadly, the last upgrade only lasts for the 2nd portion of one of the final dungeons.

it really isnt as much action as some people make it out to be, its more action/adventure/puzzle. i too have never played a zelda game, so dont let the lack of action turn you away from it, it's amazing!
