I am going to buy a wii, primarily for the virtual console games. I have two questions: First, how much memory does the wii have for saving vc games. Second, how much room do vc games need? Thanks in advance.

The Wii has a 512 MB built-in flash memory.

I don't know how to answer the vc question though, since different games have different sizes Mario 64 is going to be way larger than say NES Tennis.

But to ease your worries a bit, if you do run out of memory you can delete VC games from your wii but re-download them later for free. So potentially you can have unlimited VC games.
