once you get the game loaded, press the home button on the wiimote(in between plus and minus button) once there go to "remote settings" down at the bottom click on that then press 1 and 2 button simultaneously on the controller youre trying to connect. hold it for at least 5 seconds or until you see the other remote pop up. then exit that menu and youre good to go.
