Hello and thanks in advance for helping me out. Just in case I am in the wrong forum, I apologize in advance.
I am trying to connect my Wii to my Sony receiver DAV-HDX900W (http://esupport.sony.com/CA/perl/model-documents.pl?mdl=DAVHDX900W) Sony Bravia KDL-40V3000 TV. I am trying to use the component cable for the Wii and can connect the 2 audio cables but with the short ends of the green/blue/red video cables, I cannot get them to the back of the tv where the video component connections are. My TV and Receiver are not close enough for that. I notice on the back of my receiver there is a component video in and a component video out. If I connect the Wii to the "COMPONENT VIDEO IN" on my receiver (audio and video), do I run a video component cable from the "COMPONENT VIDEO OUT" on the back of the receiver to a set of component video in jacks on the back of my tv???? Will that fix my issue or is there an alternate way of doing that????
Thanks
