hint on new smash bros?

in an interview with ign sakurai said this on new modes

IGN: What would be that one specific feature you wish you could have added?
Masahiro Sakurai: I feel like anything I've considered I'm probably going to think about when -- I mean if -- another game was to come out in the series and so I'd like to keep a lid on that for now. and not disclose anything I've been thinking about there.

I wouldn't say thats a hint on a new Smash Bros. exactly, rather just an if/when it happens. Surely after the sales of Brawl Nintendo will no doubt continue the series.

The Third game (Brawl) wasn't even planned back in 2005 by Sakurai. It was Satoru Iwata who told ppl at E3 that there was a new Super Smash Bros. coming out for the New Game Console (Wii). Sakurai saved Iwata by making the game, but he barely pulls it together with random satff and what-not.

I think that quote sums up all our questions here. The term "only on" leads me to believe that Sakurai still has a couple more Smash Brothers games on it's way.
