im introducing myself to eliminate the ads. my name is dad. i have three young kids and a wife (who doesnt like video games but loves playing the wii) and i was lucky enough to walk into a target and find this unit on the shelf. i bought it for Christmas 2007 and it generated way too much excitement when the the three children opened it. i have to say that as someone who grew up with the Atari 2600, this product is quite amazing. a couple of the kids already have the DS and im so impressed at the way Nintendo has used wireless technology and has thought outside the box in their controllers. i thought with the gamecube Nintendo was dead in the water, but theyve proved me wrong. and to offer this at an entry level price, Nintendo has really made their mark as a smart, innovative company who understands the mass market. ill be rooting for Nintendo from here on in. Kudos fellas.
