It could be all that you need. Check to make sure the Wii picks up the signal and that it is strong. If your Wii does not detect a signal, then visit this site for more support:

if you don't have wireless internet, buy a LAN adapter at your local store,(walmart or target) and connect it to your source of Internet connection.
