hey, the board told me to introduce myself so here I am
I finally was able to get a wii about 3 or 4 days ago, I had to show up the day the got them in to get one cause they always sell out XD
neway, guess I'll share a little bit about myself...
I'm 20 years old, live in Canada, and emm.... well I like to game... the only one I bought with the wii is zelda for now... I'm waiting for smash bros and mario party

what are wii friend codes used for actually? is it like for the mii thing? how does that work? is there like a chat with it?

Right da codes are used for mailin other wiis via yours.

Welcome! and i'm new here too lol.

Well friend codes are used to stay "conected" to your friends lol. You have to enter your friend code and your friend has to enter yours. This allows you to send messages, pictures and share Mii's and for now i think that's it..

For example in elebits if you have a friend who also has the game, you can share pictures that you take during the game. I supose that when online gaming goes on it will let you play with your fiends, just like the DS
