HELP with wii online

hi all bought my wii yesterday and got the usb -ethernet adapter tryed 2 connect with my xbox ethernet cable its a no go so i just wanna know what kind of cable i need seen as there to tight to supply 1 with the offical adapter ( new i should of got the unoffical 1 :mad5: )any help would b greatful.
And no im not daft i know what im doing but i thought any ethernet cable would work seen as the 360 s looks the same as ne other and plz dont post about wifi cos i aint got wireless and i never will cos it sucks 4 online gaming.

this is how im trying 2 connect ethernet cable from my pc ether port direct to the usb ether adapter {same way i connect my 360 not at the same time obviously cos i only got the 1 port }
