Help with "Howling Stones"

Ok. I know i could be considered stupid for not knowing this, but I have come across two of those "howling stones" or whatever they are called that are supposed to take you to that ancient warrior so you can learn new moves. When I walked up to the first one in the Twilight, it gave me the option to match the howling and then it took me to the warrior in wolf form. However, he said that I need to come back with my sword. I assumed it meant to come back as a human. But I can't figure out how to activate the stones as a human. Help!!!

You go to the stones as a wolf and howl. Then you howl again at the place where you are transported to. Then the ghost wolf tells you to come to him as a human, as marked on the MAP, not at the stone.

k thanks, i am a little slow when it comes to problem solving games. :idea: one other question, if I miss a stone as a wolf (I get rid of the twilight before howling at the stone) is there any other way to still learn the skill?
