I have the Wii console set up with wireless internet playing , weather and news but it will go on to the shopping channel because it will not update, any suggestions on how to get it to update? I tried phoning Nintendo help even and so far no luck. Maybe in the forum there is someone who can assist me!

Congestion on the Nintendo servers
I have encountered the same problem in the past. I found that the answer was just persistence. Try, and try, and try again. Try at different times of the day and night. Sometimes the Nintendo servers in your local area may become overwhelmed and you cannot get the update because of congestion. If you come back a few hours later you may have more success.
