Hello and probably stupid question

Hi - I got my wii for christmas and its wicked, however I have a question.

I have got it online on my wireless network and added my mate who also has a wii and we can send messages etc fine - are we going to be able to play games against eachother anytime soon (we are in the UK)? and will it only be games which support wiiconnect24?....... itd be cool to be able to play the sports against him!

the only stupid question is an u asked one [or one not first sought thru the search function] as of yet there is no online however several games w\ online play will be released this year! CANT WAIT!

I understand you are new but that is all the reason to learn right away.
Please use the search function and save yourself being flamed, yelled at, etc..
