HardGrip Extreme Rock Climbing Game Announced For Wii-1.052010-03-02 16:23:57Maura S
Not quite sure how they’re going to do this, but Human Soft has today announced an extreme rock climbing game for the Nintendo Wii called HardGrip, the first of its type for the console. Players will get the chance to experience the thrill and adrenaline of free soloing some of the most famous rock walls in the world, complete with a thumping soundtrack. Compete against other climbers and hone your skills to earn respect and become the top extreme climber. And avoid falling off!
During the course of the game, players have the chance to tour exotic and stunning locations all over the world, competing in open events and invitation-only official races. With no harnesses or lifelines, players must solve difficult challenges in order to make it to the top, both literally and figuratively, one would presume! Aside from speed, climbers must also exhibit ingenuity and daring to earn respect. HardGrip also supports the Wii MotionPlus accessory for even greater precision and authenticity. This is what Gabor Kadas, CEO of Human Soft, had to say about the game:
“Free climbing is all about style and creativity. Just making it to the top fast isn’t the point if you used an easy route. By incorporating the MotionPlus, we can capture that competitive spirit in a game for the first time.”
At present there is no release date or screenshots available for* HardGrip.
