hanging cause by system menu updates??

hi,

can anyone help?? i have a jap wii which has been chipped, and when i put into the machine the big brain, it did a system menu update.
it seem ok, but when i go to play the game, the first screen is missing some artwork and when i press start it hangs. even worse i can't power down the machine or reset!!
when i go to the setup menu it say's i can't connect to opera? but i don't have any wireless connected to it??

Hanging caused by user error. Buy a new one and update it online before playing the latest pirated games, or better still buy the games and wii from the same region and don't use a modchip.

but the game is not pirated.....its an original!

Nintendo now warmn you that before you update, be aware that the updates cause some modchips to block the console.

your chip must have been one of the blocked ones, so nothing you can do now.
