guitar on ds?

ive heard of a game where you can play the guitar on your ds. is it going to be released in uk. if so when?

I wish I played guitar... or any instrument... But I have never heard of this... What exactly will the DS do to enchance the guitar playing experience anyway? How would it know what you're playing?
