Guitar Hero problems

Does anyone else get an error message when they're trying to play co-op on hard? We got through a few sets and a red screen booted us off because it was "unable to read disc." This only happens on co-op and it only happens on hard. The disc is brand new! Any one else have this problem?

does this always happen at same spot? or at random?

It always happens in the same spot when we first start the game. After that, it occasionally locks up in random spots. We never have any trouble playing on medium or easy (which we don't want to play anymore) and single player hard is fine too. What gives?

dunno, you can try exchanging it for the better sound version, hey you get a free faceplate
