Glitch? Or not!

I just borrowed red steel today and i'm at angels spaa. for some reason i dont have a gun and have the sword instead. any help?

you should have a gun by now.

Press Left on the D pad. You will switch to the gun.
If it won't switch, it's because you're about to be in a sword fight.
If neither of these are the case, then you've probably found a glitch. Bad luck!
