Get Fit With Wii Fit Plus at Target-1.052010-01-15 15:31:52Maura SNintendo and Target have announced today that they’ve teamed up to help people keep their New Year’s resolutions. On weekends from January 16th to 31st, shoppers visiting select Target stores in North America will have the chance to check out the Wii Fit Plus Experience in the parking lot or at the store entrances. Each location will feature eight kiosks where visitors can get some “feet time” with the Wii Fit Plus software in an atmosphere reminiscent of a yoga studio.
While there, shoppers can try out the various balance board games featured in Wii Fit Plus, and Nintendo and Target ambassadors will be there to provide visitors with demos, information and free healthy snacks. As if the promise of free snacks wasn’t enough to get you rushing over there, visitors who complete the Wii Fit Plus demo will receive a Target Gift Card for $15 that can be applied to any Target purchase.
“If you’re just embarking on your New Year’s resolutions (or have already abandoned them), the Wii Fit Plus Experience at Target stores will show you how you can have fun and stay active,” said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “Wii Fit Plus has so many customizable options, it’s easy to stay motivated and energised all year long.”
