German Wii in the UK - Plug situation?

Hi peeps

I have just ordered a German wii for me in the UK. As I have given up trying to get one here!

Can I remove the german plug and put a british plug on?

I can't answer 'plug socket' questions
You know UK games WILL work with it, But why give up? It's not THAT hard to find one really. However it's you're life and you've bought a German one. Enjoy it

I THINK changing plugs will work but you're best off waiting for other responces

Wii smurf I said the exact same thing as you have the other week, but you literally can't get find any now. It's a shame, you would have thought Nintendo would have produced alot more consoles because of Xmas and people not managing to get them last year have waited another year to get one but it looks like alot of people will be dissapointed.

It's mostly because of selfish people buying all the Wii's then putting them on Ebay at rip off prices (279 is what they are asking for now!). I suspect a lot of kids will be dissapointed this Christmas.

So any ideas if I can just whip off the plug and put a UK one on?

Mine came from Germany and also came with a plug adaptor.
