Gamecube games Online?

So I was browsing through the used gamecube games a few days ago and noticed some of them show "online" play.

Can us Wii owners, play gamecube games online?

theres only like 3 games that go online for the GC, 2 of which came out in japan
so no

well, actually there this thing called the warp pipe that hackers used to get MK: DD and SSBM online. but ive seen vids and it looked fake, and they did a crappy job even if it worked
