gamecube games on wii

I read someeeee of the post but didn't get the answer i needed. Can you paly gamecube games on wii with motion controls or do you need to use old type controls. I have memory card in but it is wii card , do i need gamecube memory card

Welcome to the forums.

You can play your old Gamecube games on the Wii with the Gamecube controller, or you can buy those "New Play Control!" titles Nintendo released that "enhance" certain Gamecube games with motion-controls.

And yeah, to save Gamecube data, you need a Gamecube memory card which gets inserted at the top of the Wii.
