Gamelion Studios’ Furry Legends game has finally got a release date, and it looks like the fluffy bundles of joy will be hitting WiiWare on July 16th, in Europe and Australia, for 1000 Wii Points. In the game, players take control of little furry balls, some of which have unique powers that enable them to perform certain special moves. The game features a robust physics system, as well as full 3D graphics with 2D gameplay, and lots of humour. Don’t be fooled by the cuteness of the characters though, Gamelion wants Furry Legends to appeal to both casual and hardcore gamers, so you’ll find that some of the levels are surprisingly challenging as you try and master some of the more difficult rolls, jumps and bounces. The game also features controls that take advantage of the Wii Remote as the player tries to solve the many sophisticated puzzles on offer. Looks like a good old fashioned old-school puzzle platformer – colourful and a lot of fun!
