Friends internet connection?

I want to download some of the virtual console games, but i do not have an internet connection. So my question is can i take my wii console over to his internet connection, which he does have a wii also, and hook it up. Then purchase/download some games from there. Then bring the console back to my house and have the games still on MY system?

Yes you download it to you Flash Memory so it stays with your Wii forever unless you delete it.
