Warner Bros. Interactive today released the first gameplay trailer for Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters, the forthcoming action-adventure game that will be released on June 10 to tie in with Warner Bros. Pictures’ epic superhero feature film, Green Lantern, which hits cinemas on June 17. The game enables players to take on the role of Hal Jordan in order to battle the Manhunters, a once-noble android police force who are now bent on destroying the Green Lantern Corps. In the game, players get to take control of the most powerful weapon in the universe, the Green Lantern Power Ring, and conjure up a spectacular range of “hard-light” constructs, including a gatling gun, giant fists, and much more, as they take flight to outer space in an effort to restore intergalactic order.
