does the ds wifi dongle work with pc's?

i was thinking about buying the ds wifi....but doesnt that work as a router? isn't the ds wifi adapter KINDA like a mini-router? if so, can i use it to connect wirlees to the internet from my LAPTOP??

Dunno if it could... but if it did, don't expect to go too far. rrr:

no, it only works with nintendo products. What it uses to allow connections is the username of the console, which you wouldn't have with a PC.

Actually you can use Nintendo's WiFi wireless adapter for your computer. I'm using it as we speak. You just need to download a driver. Click Here to download the driver.

I think he meant to get wireless access for his laptop, not for connecting the adapter to. That driver is what you put on the computer that has the adapter plugged in.

The answer is no, you can't connect anything non-Nintendo branded to the wireless adapter.
