Absolutely not. My inbox gets enough emails as it is without thread subscriptions clogging it up.

I don't subscribe, I just keep tabs in my head for certain threads that I should go back to later.

I subscribe and get the emails, whats a few more emails in a day anyway really, plus if it's a topic I want to really want to be involved in the emails save me from going back until I know there is a reason to, and no I never unsubscribe.
