Do you need nintendo Wifi usb connector to play against other Wii consoles or can you have a router?

You can use the USB wifi connector, LAN adaptor or Wireless router to connect.

Personally, my fav is the LAN adaptor.

Yes, like Squall7 mentioned above, its up to you to decide which one to use. However, I would personally avoid the USB WiFi connector as it seems to cause a LOT of problems for a lot of people. I would personally recommend the Wireless router. Goodluck.

yeah a wireless router is the way im going.

and it works flawlessly.

my friend has a usb connector and he hasnt told me of any errors from it.

but it's really your decision and what you think is best.
