I currently have two Western Digital network storage devices hooked up to my router. Each has a built in Twonky media server. My PS3 & PC's detect these network devices right away on the network & I can view all the media I have stored on them through each device.
I keep hearing and reading upon a program that can be used in conjunction with the Wii known as "playon". It seems that this program will detect the PC's through the Wii but will it detect the storage devices I have on the network? That is my biggest concern. I ripped over 500 DVDs and have stored them on on these storage devices. It would be nice for my little girl to be able to view these movies through her Wii.
If anyway has any info, it would be greatly appreciated.
